I am back with my blogs.Are you getting bored sitting at home?Or do you want to eat or cook anything?Do you want to do something to pass the time?I have the perfect thing about what to do.I am going to tell you a very easy recipe and I am very sure you’ll have all the ingredients.But are you surprised that it is with only 2 ingredients?Yes it is only with 2 ingredients.I can tell you it will taste really good and is very easy.It will be a yummy dessert or snack recipe during this Lock-down period, a good way to pass your time by cooking. So why are we waiting?Let’s start-
First,Let me explain you what Kesari means
Kesari is a Indian sweet which is mostly made throughout the country.It is usually made of sugar but I am going to tell you the recipe of how to make it with jaggery.And don’t worry about the taste as it won’t change.It is also really healthy.Now I’ll tell you the ingredients.
1.Sooji(Semolina) – 1 glass
3.Jaggery – 1 and 1/2 glasses or less
4.Water – 1 glass
So now I’ll tell you the procedure.
1.Firstly ,You should fry the Sooji or Semolina with ghee on low flame .It should become like this👇
2.Then put the sooji or semolina aside and take the jaggery (as per mentioned measurement) and put it in the bowl with water and let the jaggery dissolve in the water on low flame.It should become like this👇
3.Strain the jaggery solution and then put the solution back on the stove heat it for 5 – 10 min and add the fried sooji. You should be stirring it until it it becomes like this👇
4.After that grease a plate with ghee like this👇
5.Transfer the kesar that is ready on to the greased plate that we prepared as shown 👇
6.Leave it for 15 min and then cut it in to the shapes you love.
That’s it your yummy and easy Kesar it ready to serve.And you do not even need to get ingredients from outside as we have every ingredient at home.You can add cashew and Elachi to enhance the taste though optional 🙂
